What To Expect

A typical service will last around 60 minutes. Traditional services include music that is led by organ, piano, and/or choir. Contemporary services include a variety of music led by a worship band. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the 8:30 and 9:01 services for fellowship and Sunday School.

You are our guest, wear what makes you feel comfortable. You'll typically find that people in our Traditional services tend to dress a little more formally and those in our Contemporary services are more informal. Our services have elements of prayer, singing, and preaching.  Guests are never singled out or asked to stand and introduce themselves.  If you would like to share with us your name and information, we have connect cards or an attendance pad that is passed during the service to give you the opportunity to share your name, prayer request, and a way to connect with a pastor if you desire.

On the map below, you will see the entrances to our church. If you're visting with us for the first time, we suggest you enter through the Main Entrance under the covered drop-off on South Walnut St. See this map. At the Main Entrance, one of the people on our Hospitality Team will be present to greet you and answer any questions you might have. If you are arriving for a Traditional Service (8:30AM & 11:00AM) then it is easiest for you to enter through the Sanctuary Entrance (near South Main St) the sets of red double doors closer to the east side of the building. If you are coming to one of our Contemporary Services (9:01AM & 11:00AM REVIVE) it is easiest for you to enter at our Main Entrance (near South Walnut St) on the west side of the building. Driving directions.

We have two Traditional Services at 8:30AM and 11:00AM in our Sanctuary. We also have two Contemporary Services in our Fellowship Hall, 9:01 and 11:00AM REVIVE. We have children, youth, and Adult Sunday School classes from 10:00-10:50AM as well.

We offer a nursery during all of our services for babies and children ages 0-4.

We offer a Kids' Worship during the 9:01, 11:00 and Revive services for children in Pre-K through 4th Grade.

What We Believe

Methodism, as the name implies, has always encouraged its followers to disciplined living. John and Charles Wesley, the founders of Methodism, took their Christianity seriously and practiced disciplined Christian living. The Methodist tradition has taught us that method or spiritual discipline can help move us toward God. United Methodism is vital today because it calls us back to the one mighty fact of our religion: The grace of God in the hearts of people.

As Christians, United Methodists hold many basic Christian beliefs in common with other Christians of all times and nations. In addition, we have some emphases and practices that are distinctly our own Wesleyan way. United Methodists hold to the historic doctrines of the faith. The Wesleyan emphasis upon the Christian life, faith and love put into practice in our daily living, has been the hallmark of those traditions now incorporated into The United Methodist Church.

As United Methodists, we are a people of open hearts and open minds. People who are different from one another worship and work together in Christ's name. We welcome you to join us as we live out our faith in Jesus Christ each day!

Our Mission

To glorify God and love others through worship, study, and service.
