UMCOR Cleaning Buckets

Our Missions Committee has extended the date to bring supplies to the church Gathering Area for the UMCOR cleaning buckets. Place items in a bag and deliver them to the church by October 1, and volunteers will then pack the buckets. Let’s buy enough supplies to fill 100 buckets!

Romans 12:13

Our heart for missions extends from our local community to the ends of the earth. Some of the local missions we participate in and support are a weekly soup kitchen on Saturday mornings, Habitat for Humanity, ACTS, repairs to homes of the elderly and disabled, Backpack Buddies, and this is just the beginning!!

Extending beyond our community, we have been involved in the recovery and rebuilding process following hurricanes, floods and other natural disasters throughout the US.

Around the globe, some of the missions opportunities include support for numerous missionaries, a Connecting Congregation in Slovakia, Volunteers in Missions working in Europe, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Africa. We also participate in Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child each year.

If you would like to become more involved in missions through our church contact Debbie Walker, the head of our missions committee.
September 29 - October 9, 2017- The Missions Team visited our partner church in Partizanske, Slovakia and then traveled to Prague.
